Thanks Smelly... I just couldn't hold on any longer. I had this very guitar on my PC wallpaper for months when it was advertised at Envy months ago. It came up on Ebay so I offered the guy a trade for my two and the rest is history. I drove up to London after work today and did the deal. I am very very chuffed.

Yeah Kevin, it's always sad when you've got to give up some guitars. But it makes room for more.:D Congrats on the Al. It looks great. I never noticed the black pinstripe line on the BFR Albert Lee's before.

Wow! it makes me kinda jealous! What happened to your other Al? Did you sell it?

I traded my AL and ASS for this, a straight swap. He buys and sells a bit so you may well see them come up on Ebay. As Smelly well knows I have been gassing for one of these since they were launched. Just had to wait till the opportunity appeared.

Good things come to those who wait!
Funny, I nearly bought yours from Envy sometime last spring, ended up with the Y2D instead...when I saw it on ebay last week I started rethinking...:)
Glad a fellow forumite ended up with it!

Like you I've been gassing for a BFR Al ever since...but now with the HH Al...
I'll definitely get a BFR AL sooner or later but might need to thin out the herd!

Thanks all, I am very pleased. It's noticeably heavier than my previous AL, presumably due to the mahogany toneblock and the fact that the last was a hardtail. Plugged it into my little Roland Cube late last night, sounds wonderful

I wonder what happened to Sean and Envy. Met him at LIMMS last year, but then he seemed to disappear off the radar. Anyone know ?
