Most advise I have to give is put your "walking fingers" on :D

Most of the "traditional" Gospel Hymn stuff I have played is lots of walking bass lines, fun for sure (just not my normal thing), and its fun to dial in a nice warm smooth sound... I will admit last gospel gig I did I was walking on an american 75 j@zz... wish I would have had my sterling for it to be honest :)

Good luck... that looks like a fun set list... I have run through some of those tunes myself... And I love they are throwing in a U2 tune as well :)

Have fun!!

DTG, there are alot of great video's on youtube.Michael w. Smith ,Hillsong ,Lincoln Brewster all use big choirs on some of there live video's. Im gigging all the time playing a lot of good stuff, but playing Gospel or praise and worship is by far my favorite. Tasty, inspiring music with high quality players at really nice sound levels. PA systems and tech people are usually very good, plus helping 4,000 people worhip the Lord,it doesn't get any better than that! :)
