:)

So after calling trhe local shop yesterday (while Shamus was there) and hearing that they have the BC Sterling in stock i looked at my "inventory" at home to see what i could part w/ to try n swing a trade ...

Anywho - i went in this morning and they nearly gave me street price (a bit short but the "immediacy" was worth it) for my F%^$d$r P bass and another axe so I made the deal and brought home the BC Sterling!!!

It looks sweet!!! and before i get some crap from Travis im gonna have to mention that my Digital Camera broke yesterday - so im gonna have to borrow a camera soon ... ill try n get pics tonight!!!!

The dude, Jason, at the store (B St. music - where Shaumas got his Bongo yesterday) was great to deal with. He even asked me what EB stuff to order now that me n James cleaned 'em out :) So i gave him an earful and he was super receptive - hopefully they'll stock n move a bunch of EB gear soon!

Post Open House GAS aint somethin to F^&k with LOL

I think what you have my friend is 'I have a bass on order and I can't stand the wait so I'll purchase a bass in the meantime to keep me occupied syndrome' It got the best of me too and that's why I purchased an Envy Green Ray when I didn't need it! I later sold the Ray right before my BC fretless Bongo came in. Congrats on the bass even though I know what you are stricken with and I feel for you brother! :D:D:D

You still gonna be able to swing that HS Sterling? :D

but of course!

I always thought that the official mark of being a gear whore was to have multiple of the exact guitar or bass in different finishes ... well, i guess this makes it official ... but the HS is different so that wouldnt have counted :)

thats probably true - but like any good addict in im the "denial phase" now and i will retort with: well, i never used the P Bass or the guitar i traded - so that makes it ok. plus, now i have less guitars, just more quality ones :)

by the way MUCH PROPS to the EBMM setup department!!!! This bass has not been setup at the store or by me and it is in PERFECT playing condition - action, intonation are right on the money. Those guys honestly deserve a tip of the hat for kicking ass!

I really dig the Buttercream. That Sterling looks great, man.
I want a Bongo, but if they make the Sterling in a 5-string, I may have to get that. Just hope they make it in BC. Congrats on the new bass.

Better forget any new BC finishes...that's no more.
