My mxr carbon copy arrived, and it is just as good as i thought, great transparent sound, easy too use and very great analog soft repeats and a huge lead sound! What fun through the loop if my 5150, i have given the delay alot of thought , and i am glad i went with the mxr. I love it, and clean its great with the modulation on its chimey and beautiful. And the lead gain sound sings with one or two repeats and the mix up to 12 oclock and the the delay at 1 oclock. Great fun pedal, and sounds great, no pop when turning it on and off, just smooth transition, and great analog delay, now dont get me wrong i would love a eventide rack or roland rack delay and echo unit, and well im at it an eventide h3000 and a wet dry wet setup! Hah! But no,.. It is a great bargin and a very well made product.

That's great news, Eric. Your rig is coming together very nicely. Hold on to that head. I regret selling mine.

i'm glad you went with the MXR CC! I can see you're very much in love as I am with its chiminess and how it savours up the guitar sound...cheers!

Guys, question. Why is Digitech's Hardwire DL-8 not even mentioned anywhere. I know that Steve Lukather uses two of them. I tried to research but didnt find much. Even the dealer didnt want to sell it to me....what's wrong? Steve must know what he is doing, no?

Hmmm. Digital or analog?

If I'm not mistaken, Dave Friedman, who did Luke's board, favours the DL-8. (Luke's have been modified to kill the dry signal, though.)

Lots of guys love that pedal and it's also relatively inexpensive.
