Mmmm...chocolately good! Must ..stop...drooling.....

The weather in these parts has been awfully sunny. What not ship your axe to me and I'll snap a few pics for you outdoors. You should get it back in a week (the pics, that is...I'll keep the axe!) :D

Sounds reasonable....

Son of a biscuit! That is just stunning......

My God, does EBMM have no shame.....torturing us like that with all these models and options. This axe, the new Morse, the new Pet coming down the pike........you guys are killing me!

Thanks and keep 'em coming!

I prefer your ALBERT, T-Dave.

Keith, they're definitely different animals and it'll take a while to really flush out where they really stand out but a few observations - I really like the piezo switch and the rosewood neck (back) on the Axis. The back of the neck just makes it feel more "raw" for a lack of better terms. You feel the grain on it and it just seems more like an old broken in feel to me. Can I say "feel" any more... :)

With my Axis SS hardtail with hums and Piezo (tobacco burst), the neck feels great...really love that thing.

but the neck pickup is too dark for my style, and positions 2&4 have such a huge volume drop and don't sound nearly as good as the ALBERT in those positions.

I may bring it to the Open House and give someone a really good deal (maybe kick in a little CLB contribution from the sale of it too :) )
