Started as a cheap, great quality guitar. Now it's even better :D
Wasn't that much work really, the toughest one was to take the paint of headstock, look at my thumb!

- sanded, oiled and waxed neck
- graphtech XL nut
- CTS pots
- treble bleed
- SD 59 & Custom pickups
- black matte pickguard
- neck shim

What final grade of sandpaper did you use for sanding the back of the neck?

Many thx for all the kind words guys. Really like the guitar now, neck feels way better, just like playing good old musicman stuff, we all know what I mean ha ha.
Can't think of anything else I would like to change in the SUB now, it's got all I wanted and doing more would be a bit pointless as I would be getting very close to a value of a proper US production musicmans.

No idea to be honest! I had that cheap Chinese sandpaper from a local DIY shop and all it says on the packaging is 'coarse, medium, fine'. I was just grabbing sheet after sheet and sanding till the desired smoothness :)
