well, i cant give you all the credit but you do indeed get some props. if nothing else your pics of your 20th were a big seller... honestly!
i was on the fence for a while & started checking ebay. there was trhis one with a best offer but i wasnt quite ready to pull the trigger. the next day the thing sold for right about the amount i was gonna offer. it was a great deal but i missed out. so i called Beaver, he didnt have exactly what i wanted - so to tempt fate i sent pete a text message.
me: hey pete how much for a 20th
pete: <insert prics here>
me: lets do it
this is the 2nd MM ive purchased via text message. WTF. i never thought id buy a guitar over txt. LoL
oh ya - a HUGE factor was Ed Friedland's video on youtube ([ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97ULm6_Y-fU"]YouTube - Bass Guitar Magazine -Sneak Preview SR5 20th Anniversary[/ame]). saying no to a 20th after seeing that video would be like seeing Albert Lees country boy vid (w/ pops on bass) and saying no to an AL. those 2 videos have both led me to purchases
anywho.... yay.
im actually really stoked to buy a bass where i dont have to called Aziah and say "so, hey - what pickguard u think i should buy?"

frankly i dont care which it is. im excited to get surprised. same went with my 20th silo. i had no idea what it would be like and its my fav top of all the ones ive seen online. its a mild quilt and flame all in one. its crazy rad

B strings are pretty big... you could hang laundry from them.. kill household pests...
actually, ive decided im just gonna take the B off and use it as a 4 string
