I'm having a drink, but I'm not crazy.

Still, how did they get a USED one already?

Jon, aren't people waiting on these things?

It may have been a NAMM show thing. We still haven't produced any as of yet.

As someone quoted July 9th when they ordered their fretless Bongo, this quote makes me weep like a little girl. :(

That sounds like a quote from the dealer. We would never promise an instrument on any specific date....Sorry Bassmonkeee...I feel your pain :(

Spec..you have a reply...I don't see how GC or any dealer can tell you the exact date that instruments will be ready. It jez don't work that way.

Well, my guy said, "10-12 weeks" when I ordered mine at the end of March. 12 weeks was July 9th for me. When I talked to Derek at the Crossroads Festival, he put the current build time at around 6 months for new orders at the time. So, I wasn't really expecting it to be done this week, anyway.

But, it was ironic that I saw my first fretless Bongo today. It must be a sign. :)
