I emailed him but it sold a couple hours ago... Was a good price, though! For that price, I would have had three ALs!! ;)

Honeyburst. I know because I missed out on it too! :(

The guy was at least nice enough to write back and told me he sold it to someone locally - so there's a seriously happy camper in the San Franscisco Bay area. Lucky dawg got it for $450 (great condition with trem, case, and Bill Lawrence noiseless pickups, no less)!

Easily the best deal on an EBMM so far that I've seen, methinks. My Sport was the same price, sans trem and case, and slightly banged up in a banged up gigbag (still love the ol' gal anyway).

Ah well....

PS ~ you forget my $400 Axis Sport score!

It arrived absolutely mint (but in a Kramer gig bag - WTF?!?). Anyway, I liked this one so much that I have since resolved to buy all the $400 Axes I can find! :D

I again stand corrected, sir! :)

(Of course, we could get all nitpicky an' stuff and factor in that the AL had a case and sunburst paint upgrade, but yours was new, so it seems like a fair tradeoff...;))

Likewise, I find that anytime a US made guitar clocks in at $400-$500 that I wind up figuring out all kinds of reasons how to justify bringing it home (I have like 10 guitars, for crikey's sake!)...oh, woe upon our poor GAS-afflicted lot!
