This is a great video on cleaning your necks! Unfortunately, there is a disclaimer that it shouldn't be used on maple necks. Do you have one for maple necks?

Thanks!

You can use the Wonder Wipes fretboard conditioner to clean your maple fretboard...you just have to wipe away the excess when you are done.

Hehe. that was a perfect example of "post first, then look"
But then... I've been using WW's for quite some time now....

That's an awesome video. I always wondered what the 'proper' method of cleaning, sanding and waxing the back of the neck was.

I guess it's time to give it a whirl. After 6 years, it's probably due :D

There's another good, albeit short, one out there on truss rod adjustments.

No, gunstock oil and gunstock wax are not the same. Try a gun shop/hunting outfitters shop. For the 1000 grit sandpaper, go to the auto body repair section at Canadian Tire, not the wood working section. The auto body section has all the really fine grits (1000 grit+).
