there are a few that have caused the mods a tough time and changed the tenor here....There are too many other places on the internet for them to spend time here....I dont know why they would write songs or be on their other forum and bother coming here...they dont like it but dont have much else to do....I would be embarrassed to banned from a guitar forum.

Dude, you bought the lame Green guitar I rejected a few weeks ago.

Update to my story..two more Green were sent to my GC & BOTH tops were lame. Will wait for used one at this rate.

I have so many of these basses I now Lost count, many cool custom tops and No I'm not an Artist nor do I Have a Deal with Music Man but in their defense I buy them as fast as I find them and never have I ever seen suck work, no ones perfect tho and they all can't have that 10 or 20 top but before we slam MM lets give them a chance, I know it can be a not so pleasing thing when your hyped all day and get home and it's not what you want, But this company is one to be proud of, Sterling does not let **** get out the door, also He can't have a Million eyes either. so trust me they will take care of the issue if there's one.

I remember Sterling having to deal with a thread about "not enough birdseye" about 5 years ago.
Sheesh, it can get kinda crazy!

I'm not an advocate of airing one's "dirty washing" in public and was kinda of taken back by the subject of this thread. Personally I'm an advocate of following the proper channels first.

I'm sure that there are comments/threads that we don't see as they are "moderated" but having seen some of the craziness that happens on some places - this is still a good place to be, and long may it continue.

THe funny thing is that not to hijack anymore..but what do people expect from a company forum? It is for information and a place for fans to hang...It isnt to cure social ills...it isnt a free for all...it is a commercial site. The people whao finally got banned by the mods were a handful and have their own little forum already....

I thought that one looked like Tommy's old one...

Lessthanone, my green tribute has an amazing tone and is so, so light. It sings out unplugged, too. I'm very happy with mine.

Tollie, if you need to hide it sometime I'll hold on to it for you. Just sayin'....

There are things I love, and not totally love about my two Tributes but I am pleased as punch to have them and am grateful for the opportunity to pick up a couple of hard to find colors I've been wanting for quite a while. And at a price that was basically no different from standard production run Axises. My biggest complaint of all about them is that they are too purty to actually play, lest I get them all dirty and stuff. :)

Please let me re-phrase statement.....

"The guitars that I looked over, did not meet my expections, based on original Thread (guitars sent to Guitar Shows)."

I own and have owned some very beautiful Axis guitars. Wood grain preferences differ among consumers....For my personal collection, I want the tricked out Corvette version.

The staff at EB/MM have been extremely helpful in my quest. Cheers to Glen!!

I never stated I would quit purchasing Axis guitars; only that I may wait for, "used".
That being said, I am a very patient person. If it takes me a few years to find the top/color that I like, than so-be-it. Most likely, will buy from a Forum Member (keep money in family).

## Pictures of guitars in question can be sent to BP & Staff. They will not be posted on this Forum.##

I think the vast majority of the tribute guitars have been astonishingly beautiful. I don't have the means right now to get one, but I'm thrilled for the folks who scored one of these beauties. The pinks and purples have just been mind-blowing!!

Dude, its product. If it is not up to your approval standards, just return it. If you are within the USA there should be no problem for an exchange.

Just a quick geography lesson. For Tollie to bring his guitar to you to hide it, he'd most likely come up 95 to 495 in Massachusetts. Tollie, I'll save you some gas....just get off exit 21a in Hopkinton. I have so many guitar hiding places, I'm convinced that I've got some long lost guitars in the house that I've forgotten about. I can hide one more....no problem....

well guys, Im sorry to say I returned it. There were just a few too many things that I couldn't get over. Need less to say, it was a great guitar with a very beautiful top. if anyone wants it, it is now at the gc in north attleboro ma. I'm going to wait for that one stunner that takes my breath away(plus i got that beautiful ass bfr to play on for a bit anyway) no disrespect to ebmm as they still have the best neck in the business
