Green Basses Don't Sell, And Yet...

I have two Dargies, the next bass I buy will likely be Charging Green, the other green basses are unlikely to become available ...

At this point I can't imagine owning a bass that isn't green.

I have the Dargie I, II and an Emerald Green! However, I'm all about the Sterlings, so I wish they would start offering the newer finishes on those instead of just giving the Stringrays love.

Ya I was kinda hoping they would have introduced the Charging Green option for the Stingray guitar as well.

I am not sure I believe that chart. It's unusual to see red so low.

I was looking for a different study that I recalled about green being the most popular color for children, but I couldn't find it. I thought it might explain something about green bass enthusiasts like myself.

This is where that graphic came from, not a great methodology, but 1,695 responses is a reasonably large study. Results | What's your favorite color?

I got the go-ahead from the wife to order myself a new bass. I'm having such a hard time picking a color because all of them are so good!

Black/maple?

That's the one I want! xD Yeah.. boring huh? I can't help it though, black/maple Stingrays are just too sexy to me. I already have a black/ebony BFR Stingray, but I want one with a maple fretboard. And if the new one becomes my main, I want it to be black. My BFR is 10 lbs :(

Who the hell said green basses don't sell?

:-)

Jack

Does this count as green also  - in which case I will be joining that exclusive band of EBMM green bass aficionados as I have an HH version of this on order - looks a great colour to me!! :D

DrT, nah that's Teal. Charging Green is green. :)

Ah thanks Scott - guess I'm only dipping my toe in the 'green bass' water with the Cruz teal - almost blue for some people. I'll leave the charging green to the professional green bass guys like Bovinehost..... I might be snared by a DD3 if it happens at some point though!!!
