LOL... I had to look/check 3 or 4 times to make sure that I got it right when I got the bass.. so somehow I thought that would be the answer...

The "0" in "R1012" is in both pictures.(Have you guys got a clue how hard it is to take a picture of a serial hidden under the saddles..?!?)

There are no other numbers anywhere of on the bass..

So, the bass was signed in approx. 92', then put in a box, and then assemblet 5 month 2002.. Is that correct..?!?
To "produce" this bass in the most correct way, NOS parts were used, correct.?
But that still does not explain the strange "R1012"... Howcome you have made a NOS bridge with a serial called "R1012".. Can you tell me the story behind the bridge and the series of bridges this one belongs too..?!? and even better, what is the plan with these bridges..?

I wish I had a more exciting story for you, but this is what I can tell you:
I'm not sure when the bass was signed. Dave was still in the band at the time, so it was sometime during his tenure.
NOS part were not necessarily used. The neck is probably current, as well as the pickup and electronics. The body, being an older style, used a bridge that worked with the old routing. The serial numbers are not done in any specific order, so there is no special reason why you have that one. We don't have a bunch of old bridges lying around, and have no plans to produce NOS instruments.
