I caught up with Gretchen at NAMM and we did a nice little interview. She sent me an email today thanking me. Let me tell you the pleasure was all mine, she is delightful. I have her new CD support her when it comes out.

Lucky man Colin... getting NAMM (that was a long walk for you LOL) and getting to interview Gretchen. Did you manage to corner anybody else for interview too ? Will look forward to them if you post as to date all yr vids have been top notch... thanks in anticipation.

most of my video is dedicated to the game changer, it was worth the time spent, I loved it. I interviewed and met Gretchen Menn, Tom Johnson (Doobie Brothers), Phil Hilbourne, Randy Jackson (He loved the GC) Eric Johnson and many more. I have Steve Morse, Dave LaRue, Blues Saraceno playing and demoing the GC. This NAMM has made me wonder if I should even go next year as I don't know if it will ever be improved upon...

Amazing playing and tone! Does anyone know which pickup she is using in the bridge position? It appears to be one of the Dimarzio dual blade humbucking single coil-sized pickups, but which one? It sounds great.
EDIT: I checked out her website and answered my question: the bridge pickup appears to be a Dimarzio Fast Track 2.
