Ground wire?

So I took the cavity cover off of my Y2D just to take a look inside. Seems the ground wire is right above the screw hole and that the screw itself would ground it (as well as the metal cavity cover, I'm guessing). Is this normal or should it be soldered somewhere else?

That's to ground the cover shielding
