That ws a great day...evh and luke and dweezil were there with us for the ceremony
I couldn't even imagine how incredibly special that had to have been... i just stood there and smiled as i discovered this gem.
I was there a month ago and totally missed it... i was there this weekend to take a family member to see her brother in the hospital and slipped away to GC again... and there it was...
I was so proud for the Ball Family...

I love that store. I can't visit L.A. without going there. The vintage room is just mesmerizing. My wife has a picture of me playing a $40,000 strat. It was an awesome guitar, but a long way from a Mr. Horsepower!

When I go to Hollywood GC I get pretty emotional....He died in sept of 2004..time flies. Go talk to your father if he is still around. Do something special and nice. My Dad is sort of with me every day as I am working in a concept that he started and we grew together. Now I have the experience with my sons.

I try to talk to my dad much more than I used to. He is getting old and I don't think he'll be around but a couple of more years. It saddens me when I think of life without him.

Nice words Sterling and so true, I lost my father a month before my first son was born and just wish he had a chance to see him. Funny how things turnout but I named him after my Father right after that, he now goes to Seton Hall on a full scholarship, has a 4.0 and is in Washington DC the next two months as he works for a Congressman ( No not Weiner lol) he is as far right as could be and his room has more pictures of him with political heavies than one could imagine, probably my greatest achievement in life. I can remember when he was little I bought boxing gloves and was thinking of when he would be old enough to go in the Gloves, well my little guy 13 who of course is named after me has that frame of mind and is of course is not doing well in school and I realize the old saying watch what you wish for is so true!

Agreed. My dad has had health issues last few years.... Heart surgery, a few scares with cancer. The man is my idol, I adore him & make sure I tell him that everyday.
