Hey, a box from EBMM. But it's only Thursday. It wasn't supposed to be here until Friday!

That Aziah is GOOD, even from long distance.

My bass came today as well, also a day early. Wow, that looks even better then it did in the other pics. Is that with the new camera?

Yup, new camera. I had some money stashed for a new bass but then....well, I got a new bass and found myself without a camera, eh?

It all worked out. My new camera kicks the old camera's @ss.

Nikon D50 - very, very good camera.

Heh. I love the PO--"Logan Flame."

Sounds like someone from a Mickey Spillane novel, or a daytime soap. :D

An absolutely beautiful bass, Jack. It's fate that the Envy Green bass you sold since it was no substitute for Dargin's LG Bongo was soon replaced by the Logan Flame Mach 2 Bongo HH.

I can't wait to see pics of it with its stable mates.

Your little BIF looks great, Jack! (This one is the one-F Bif, right?)

Indeed, Aziah is a gem. :)

Simply gorgeous!

So are you gonna play it out in the world or hang it on the wall?

Too Cool Jack, got her in time to play a gig this weekend! I'm honored to have seen that bass in person, and watch you get it... what a great night!

I'm still so happy for you, I only regret you and I didn't have our picture made together, next I come to Texas we'll have to fix that.

Go ahead and get a set of TI flats and go to town! :D

Chuck, I will be putting flats on it this weekend, I promise. I just spent the last two hours playing the thing and it needs flats to be truly mine.

Also, the setup was PERFECT last Friday, but heat and whatever else the poor thing had to endure in THE TRUCK conspired to really screw up whatever Jon did to it, but hey, I have a screwdriver and I'm not afraid to use it. It's almost back to where it should be.

Now I get to change the strings and start all over again! Frankly, I like the process, so no one should feel sorry for me.

So are you gonna play it out in the world or hang it on the wall?

Oh, Father Gino, my outlook is - it's a bass. If I don't play it, it's art. Well, okay, with this one, it's both, but believe me, I couldn't leave a bass this cool at home. My guitar player saw photos of it and said, "Oh! A Cowpilot Bongo, finally!" Yeah, well, maybe, but in any case, it's my bass and it will surely be seen in public. Otherwise, where's the fun?
