So we got the Reflex... Possibly the Gamechanger... What else? Anything within reason you are hoping to see?

Me... Powder Blue 4H Big Al, or a Stealth Big Al! JOSH

I am literally, not figuratively, holding my breath for new StingRay colors so I can order a second fretless.

(Would seriously consider ordering a classic if it came in fretless ;))

Within reason? Easy.

The ability to order a greater range of existing colors in basses.

Compare the colors available for the Albert Lee to those available for the Big Al, for example.

No new paint needed... just a willingness to apply what's there.

(Caveat... I don't really know how trans finishes would work on the mahogany Big Al body, but we do have Vintage Burst, right? So trans finishes aren't out of the question the way they are for the Bongo.)

I mean, check this out. Here are five of the eight available colors for the Big Al:

Just my humble opinion, but I really think the pendulum has swung a little too far over to the conservative end of the spectrum. At least we have Candy Red (awesome color), Blue Pearl and Vintage Burst.

Meanwhile, here are the colors that the guitar guys can have in addition to all eight of the colors available on the bass version:

52-transorange.jpg
53-transgold.jpg
70-honeyburst.jpg
73-tobaccoburst.jpg
74-cherryburst.jpg

I'm only interested for the new reflex bass at this moment!

Interested for color chart, pickup configuration, production start, prices, ...everything about this bass!

I don't know why do I have so much GAS for this model, it must be something magic and mystique about it!
Like the design, wood work, pickups, 4 band EQ...everything!
It must be some kind "Love at first sight", ...didn't even tried any (of course) except the 4 string 25th H at my local dealer, ...I know 25th is one step over the serial production, but expect very similar look & sound!

I don't really know how trans finishes would work on the mahogany Big Al body

Trans crimson looked mighty fine on the mahogany bodied 30th Anniversary Stingray, and trans finishes have been working just fine on mahogany bodied Gibsons for the past 40 years.

I ordered my Big Al 5-H today in White. Not my first colour choice, but seeing that Cabernet Pearl is no longer available it was my next choice. Now to wait four months for it to arrive.

A Big AL in Cab Pearl would have been awesome!! Anything in Cab Pearl looks amazing! I'm glad I ordered my Cab Pearl Super Sport right before that color was discontinued.

Guesses: Well, I think BP & Crew will present ... something ... but my best guess would be the Reflex models.

Hopes: I do hope they (re)introduce a couple more colour options and although I second adouglas' thoughts about the guitar/bass model finishes I am not quite sure these trans finishes would work as nicely on the darker canvas mahogany offers (Big Al) or even the Bongo's basswood body ... versus lighter and usually more nicely structured maple or ash tops. But I would still love to see some more lively finishes, especially for the Bongo.

Am I allowed to quote myself? :D

Does anyone know why they don't make classic fretless models? I don't know if the mutes are an issue but they did make fretless Rays way back when.

Lamborghini Orange Reflex.

There. I said it. With a thread like that, I had to.

PS: Just another thought -- the return of Ice Blue...
