Oh I forgot to mention this and i think its important, cause there may be others who are pondering a Pet neck, the time for me to get used to that neck ZERO, ZILCH, NADA...I picked it up and played it like I've been playing it for years. I do want to know about going up to 10's...ah but that trem is so balanced, I don't want to mess with it...ARGGGGHHHH!

See, now I found the neck on the JP7 not quite to my fitment - that's why it's JPs neck and not mine! (plus I wouldn't get my own EB model until after Raz gets his ... if he ever does) Is the neck comfortable? Yes. Is it fast? Yes, very. Is it for me? Not yet And that's the only reason I didn't snap up the Blue Dawn 7 posted for sale on here a while back - I already have a 7 that suits my needs.... Although I will certainly be getting a JP 7 w/ piezo at some point in time, just for the piezo - if not to support the addiction!

Now use that rig of yours and record some new stuff for us to hear! I have a few days off next week, and I hope to work in a little recording time. I just cleaned up the basement and moved all the studio gear into a usable workstation setup, so I've got no excuses now.

Congrats Raz! That's a beautiful guitar. Actually, I tend to think that the Red Pearlburst JP's look a little sharper with the natural headstock. I also agree that the necks on these guitars are @#*@ing incredible!
