Hello

I just received the new edition of Guitar & Bass (October 2007).
There are some Music Man content :
1. A small article on the Global Warming Silhouette
2. An interview with Albert Lee (he talks of course of his new BFR model)
3. A review on lightweight guitars where they talk about the Silo

Last issue (september) was also nice : John Petrucci and Tony Levin ... you can expect Music Man porn.

As a Frenchman it hurts me to say that, but the English mags are really the best !

Well, my scanner is out of order so I have to type :

How many guitars do you use ?
Oh, I only travel with one. This is a new prototype of my Enie Ball Music Man signature model. It's part of their Reserve series. The body has three different woods with a mahogany 'tone block' down the middle. It gives it afatter sound, and it really sings. It's still got the vintage tremolo and Seymour Duncans. funnily enough, I wasn't involved with its original development ; they sent me a prototype which I played for a number of years, but they were busy with the Silhouette and shelved this guitar for a while. When things picked up, they said 'maybe we'll put out that guitar as the Albert Lee model'. I just thought - that's cool !

In the interview, Albert says that he has no backup guitar ... he never breaks strings !

Thank you very much for your efforts in typing!!!!!!!!!! much appreciated!

Thats certainy different to what Albert said to us the other day, he said his guitar wasnt a BFR or proto BFR, just a regular AL. Interesting, maybe Pinkburst is the BFR after all.......

one for every song, the other had one ernie ball :)

and the set wasnt even that long,......there were more talking and crowd participation than there was music!!!!!

Talk about old school One guitar....I love the punk bands with 30 minute sets and 5 guitar changes...,big al @ 63, blasting for hours on one guitar
And I never once saw him stop to tune it. Albert is so impressive as a musician and as a person. So is his guitar...
