Just looked through the 2007 Guitar buyers guide (guitar world pub, I think)

Flipped to the EB section and was surprised by what wasn't in there. No Benji Madden model, no silo or silo spec...though there was the 20th anniversary edition, and no regular steve Morse....though they did have the y2d.

BTW there was also a cool eb ad. The tag line was very to the point..."Buy Ernie Ball Products" over a collage of their various products. :)

Some things weren't in there, but there's way more then there usually is in that issue.
I previous years, they'd only put 3-4 models.

I used the book a few years ago to unload an ancient P Bass but the pricing is way outta whack in both directions.

I don't have official information, but my guess is that they're manipulated by the really large companies (nameless) who probably fill their pocket with money!

Most of the mags are talking about the companies taht are buying advertisement spaces.
If the guys from a big company buy 3 pages of Ad, they will have 3 pages on their products. Simple.
