Hello, I'm new to the forums here and tried to do a search on guitar care, but didn't find anything (if it is covered then I apologize).
My beautiful bride to be gave me a Silhouette Limited Edition guitar for Christmas. She's awesome, truly. I have read somewhere else online that since the neck is unfinished, that there should be special care involved. I believe that there was some type of oil mentioned. Can anyone here give their 2 cents?
Thank you for your time.

Thanks everyone. She really is a wonderful and beautiful woman. Thanks for the heads up on posting a picture of the guitar. My fiance is a photographer so and actually knows how to put pictures online so I will ask her tonight about taking some photos.
Again, thank you for responding so quickly.

Alex, does she have an older sister? A mother? Ok, a grandmother?

Welcome, and congrats on both the bride to be and your new Sil. They both sound like keepers.

I live in the Connecticut, the Nutmeg state. Still trying to get a picture of the guitar up. She had to go to New jersey today to visit her family, but hopefully she'll be able to do it tonight.
By the way, does anyone know how to remove the tremolo bar. I'm used to the ones that you can just spin out and according to an email that I sent to ernie ball customer service, their representative said that it just pops out and that a little force may be required. I am very leery of putting any force on it. Any suggestions?
Thanks again.

Oh, she does have a step sister.

Step sister would be too young for me, but thanks! :)

Yeh, just pop the trem arm in or out. A tension spring holds it in place.
