Just wanted to share some info with youse guys, especilly if you are in North Texas, I go to the GC in North Dallas which is there platinum store and the sales guy I deal with there is very cool and not pushy at all as is the platinum room manager. Well Jeremy leaves me a message at work that they just got some new EBMM guitars in, so while I am out fighting the holiday crowds I swing by to see what he was talking about, I get there and he is not in yet and I do not see any new EBMM guitars so I leave and come back later, when I get back he is there and all excited to show me these new guitars, he starts looking which I had already done and cannot find them, he starts to check inventory on the computer when he says well lets look in here which is a glassed in room that is there platinum room, and low and behold three new JP`s hanging on the wall, finally they put these guitars where they belonged. Now the good part, first was a new 2007 LE Fully Loaded with a great birdseye neck just beautiful, so suprised they actually brought on in, second was a walnut burst BFR great quilt top, and they also brought in a loaded graphite pearl, just thought I would share and was so happy to see these displayed where they belong.:D

somebody pinch me

Darrell and I checked out the new GC at it's grand opening a few weeks back,(former Tropican store was moved right on the end of the Strip) and we searched for awhile to try and find an EBMM guitar, finally there was an Axis in the special glass room. There were plenty of EBMM basses available, but it was pretty cool to see EBMM get some premier product placement.

+1! There's a GC near Boston (in Natick mall) that I visit once a year or so, and they had a sweet ASS hanging in the "special room". I plugged it into a Lonestar 1x12 and it was pure heaven. MM guitars definitely deserve respect.

Honestly, in the past, when the other major dealer in Singapore had EBMM, they also used to put them in the "special" rooms. That's where I first saw the gorgeous Black sparkle Silo in pearloid guard and heavy birdseye maple neck that got me hooked to the brand!

But they couldn't turn as much as they could with Fenders and Ibanezes, so I think they dropped EBMM... Dumbasses...

Whitestrat,

It's hard to believe some guitar stores ain't "got a clue" on how to display and sell guitars!! (seriously)

No wonder there's so many that go out of business (but that's never the owner/manager's fault - is it??, after all, they ran a music store!!)

Honestly, they're not even into running the business anymore. They're just looking to make money, and they're going into properties and investments more. This 2nd generation owners of this company doesn't play ANYTHING. Guess he's not interested...

OK back on track, these are great looking guitars, if you want one just contact your local GC and tell them to check stock at the North Dallas store:cool:

I was just at the Lawndale store this morning killing time. The JP was up really high so I had them take it down for me. (Although I am a tall guy, the last thing I need to do is fall and break my neck and a EBMM guitar to boot.)

It was a really nice fully loaded burgandy red one (forget the proper name). I really like the feel of the neck. Had to put it back before the guy talked me into buying it. I did get some Wonder Wipes though. ;)
