For how long would you guys think these deals will be available? I'm coming over 1st week of November, and have already planned a visit to a GC Platinum with the purpose of bringing home an EBMM to keep me company in the cold of winter.

Another option is to get it shipped via Shipito

Hey Guys,

This is what is going on at GC. They had planned an in store across the board sale. Previously, they could change the price in the store and that would be isolated to the store. With some recent changes to their IT systems, now all pricing feeds to all places. The result is that their in store sale pricing mistakingly ended up on line at gc.com and GC Platinum. They have been scrambling to get this fixed. The in store sale they were promoting has already ended and they are still having the pricing issue..

Wow!! This is amazing!! I have been wanting/gassing for my perfect Stingray (Roasted, Classic, Candy Red) from GC Platinum for near on a year but they can't sell it to me cos I am in the UK. This is great news...

Is it all above board though?? Anyone used this service and actually got their goods?!

Absolutely. I use it for Amazon all the time - Amazon often ship free within the US, so it goes to my account at Shipito for free, and Shipito then send it on to me. I've also had used basses shipped to me via Shipito from TalkBass and eBay sellers who couldn't be bothered shipping internationally. You pay $8.50 per shipment, but being a large volume shipper, their UPS/Fedex/DHL/TNT international rates are around half the price of what you would pay yourself.

You must make sure that your delivery address in the UK is the same as your credit card billing address or your registered Paypal address, or they won't accept you as an account holder.

I just got a Stingray 4H Stealth at a great price. If it's a mistake, they don't seem to be in a hurry to remove those prices. I'll post some pic's when it arrives!

Wow, that seems like an option for sure. Thanks for the info!
Still, I'll try to hold out until I'm over in Nov, for once it seems I will have some time for myself and a GC Platinum visit would be so cool. Especially with some bass funds intact. ;)

Whoops...I just received my Trans Gold (matching headstock) SR4HH today. The order was placed on Sunday afternoon. I thought it was a cheap price, although not much cheaper than the new SR4HH models that aren't on the platinum portion of their site.

I can see why you're having a hard time deciding, they are both stunning! Personally, I would probably go for the RW board, but it's a very close call.
