Has a really nice EBMM Guitar setup. They have a big neon EBMM sign and a dedicated wall for the guitars, with a mystic dream JP6, an AL and an Axis, along with a Sterling AX40 and a JP50. All of them are up too high to get trashed by people banging them around.

Guitar Center Hollywood has an interesting selection as well.

They have maybe five 25-anniversary guitars on the wall and seven or eight 25-anniversary basses. They also have two BFR Axis' (one SS one Floyd'd, both blueburst), one JP6 (red), one HH AL (green), and two or three Reflexes (both solid white and black).

Sounds like a great selection, I wish all GC's had them that way!!

As far as the guitars being up too high - well, that can be good and bad. Bad for the customers and (kiddies) wanting to play them (AND yes, perhaps then buy one);

well, now that I think about it, I really don't think there is a good reason to have them out of reach. Oh well, I don't own a music store either.

The GC here in Salt Lake City keeps them high on the wall too. Several Axis and a 25th. I don't think they ever get played.

Ya know - a person can look at that two ways;

1. Yeah, they're high up on the wall so they are protected like closet queens.

2. They are not down low so they get in to the hands of potential buyers and future Music man devotees.

My opinion is the stores should have some Music Man guitars, lower priced models of course, out where people can handle them. It's good for business.

I think all the expensive guitars are protected there, they have a locked room for the multi-thousand dollar guitars. The demos on other models within reach can get a little beat-up. I saw one missing a knob for example. Though it is true, if they are not within reach most people probably won't try them out. With EBMM, they may figure if you don't know what it is you shouldn't be banging it around.
