Hey Guys,

I'm hopefully going to be ordering a new Ball probably within the next couple of weeks and was wondering a few things. I've never seen an EBMM catalog so I'm not sure of all the options that I can choose from, and I'd like to get my mind made up 100% before I go in to my local shop to order.

I know I've got the option for color, matching headstock, trem type, rosewood or maple neck etc. But was wondering about the following:

1. Can I choose the hardware color? If I go with a white or white pearloid pickguard, can I get black pick-up covers and black knobs etc.

2. Can I choose the color of tuners? Or at least the color of the buttons on the tuners.

Do I have these types of options or do certain guitar models come with certain colors etc that we can't change?

I apologize if this info has been given before, I did a quick search but couldn't find the answers that I wanted.

If there is any link with this info that would be appreciated too

Thanks:) ,
Scott

I had a similar quandry when I ordered my AL.
The one thing you could do is ask your dealer for an extra set of pickup covers.
I'm not saying you can do that with all EB guitars, but he had them for my AL.

What EB are you thinking of going for?

Thanks Guys.

Hey Spudmurphy, That's the question isn't it!!!!! I love my Axis SS, but I've been asking myself whether I need another one. I was thinking that maybe I need some variety with the sound I get from my guitars. That's why I was almost set on getting a Silhouette so I could get something with that single coil tone. Now a buddy of mine has turned me onto the Petrucci model. He works at one of the EBMM dealers by me and they have the axis, silhouette, and petrucci guitars in stock so I got to try them all. And I'm finding it hard to decide(winning the lottery would be nice right about now). They are all very comfortable to play. That makes the decision even tougher.....but I will decide soon. I want to get it ordered soon:D :D

Thanks:)

The Pet is very nice - and yeah I agree, go for something different.
Try an AL out you may like it !!
The fun bit is trying them out - and then trying to decide.

Beej, you are not helping:)

The shop I mentioned actually had a Luke in stock and an AL. But no Morse:(

Hey Spud it's funny you mentioned the AL. The body style really isn't my thing, but since I read all the rave reviews from you guys I gave it a try and liked it as well. The body is starting to grow on me.

I know I'm going to be happy with what I order but it's tough choosing. Don't even get me started on what color I want.:p

Color: "Put it where the sun don't shine purple":D :D

Very funny Twan and I'm kidding of course. Actually, whichever guitar I choose, I've got narrowed down to Candy Red, Teal, or Desert Gold.
