ive both a K&M stand and a herc, and i prefer hercules for my bass, by all means K&M's are great, sturdy and everything but the bottom supporter bit nudges my bass tone knob,
if ur considering getting a K&M remember to try it out first

my rays have taken so many spills off music stands and it's never really bothered the basses but still i get pissed. get a string swing and hang your axes up on the wall, so they never get knocked over by drunk girls

Another satisfied Hercules user - I have a three-way and love it. :D

I love a nice three-way.

As if I would know what a nice three-way is like.....

BTW, I HAVE had a mishap with my two-way Herc. It was at an outdoor gig on uneven ground, so it was not the fault of the stand...it would have happened to any two-way stand.

Watch that C of G, folks.

I'm a big fan of them as well.

I just got one of those stands a week ago. It's nice. That's where my Sterling stays when it's not being played.
