i really think this guys playing is an insult to this great axe, check out Mitch Merritt for the best tone on one of these beauties.

i think i made a similar comment the first time this was posted a few months back. every review this guy does he has the same sounds goin on.

Rob, I've seen Mitch's stuff and your right he's a much better player. The thing about this post was that the video was made by Guitar World. It's nice to see them give EBMM the recognition that the deserve.

Oh I don't know, I thought it sounded AWESOME, the guitar that is. I liked the review, although I thought he neglected to mention what I consider to be one of EBMM's most unique feature and that being our little friend, the infamous truss rod adjustment.. My guess is, this dude's a HUGE Jimmy Page fan. +1 for posting and +1 to EBMM for making such a BEAUTIFUL instrument that sounds as impressive as it looks. Now if I can just convince BP to make a seven stringed version.

It was cool to see the silo in action, but it wasn't really much of a review - just a basic overview of the features with some kind of superficial praise and the guy jamming a little bit. I like to see a reviewer really dig in and talk about what works well and what doesn't, and most importantly - why.

Of course with a knockout like the 20th silo, there may not be too many criticisms, but he should at least try to convince the viewer that this is really a stunning guitar. As it is it just sort of came off as a little limp, and if I didn't already know about this guitar I wouldn't be too convinced either way.

But hey, there's no such thing as bad publicity, and a good review from GW (even if it's a lite review) is worth it's weight in gold. Kudos to EBMM! :)

I think it's an excellent review, albeit simple and brief. The focus isn't on his playing but on the guitar, which is what a review should be. The tones are right up my alley: zep-esque indeed. This clip has bumped my interest up a notch, right alongside the AL.

Never was very interested in returning to humbuckers until I got a silo special with SSH. This silo opens the bucker possibilities up.. way up.

I saw the video as well, one of my first thoughts were that the tone block wasn't mentioned, and the truss rod thing too, but he did bother to mention about the headstock, the schaller tuners and the compensated nut, so credits to that.

I actually liked the tone, and I think this guitar is amazing! I mean, I never really
liked a silo, but this one really shines...

definitely in my wish list...
