Please can anybody tell me which effect do I have to use in order to get that 'funk-disco' guitar sound? I want to play funky octaves, strummings etc, but my tube compressor is WAY too transparent to make this sound.
Phase shifters, Flangers and Wah Wahs. Make the sound thin with single coils and kill the mids on your amp. A cool chord progression might be something like
