I'm going to be honest....I don't know how you guys do the whole four-month-wait thing. The most I'll have to wait (to get a ride to go pick it up) is until satuday and I'm like an excited little school girl right now. I guess I'll find out when I eventually order my Silhouette special...

it's lookin' like tommorrow might be the day....

A quick question though, I checked the FAQ page and saw that it comes stock wth 9's, but will I be able to use 10's without having to file the nut? How about 11's?I'm planning on putting in a call to CS tomorrow for some other questions, so I guess I'll find out soon enough, but I'm stocking up on strings tomorrow too so it wouldn't exactly hurt to know sooner:D

getting pretty excited...

:D

Picked her up about an hour or two ago....I've only been home with her for a few minutes, but I had to share the fantastic news. I feel like a crook for the price I got this at. I can honestly say I've never felt so at-home with a guitar before now. Even my Jem (my main guitar...up until now at least) took me a while to completely build a relationship with....but this thing was just an instant connection. I'm so stoked about this guitar. The top is astounding, it's got a some great neck-wood, it sounds great, feels great....it's just GREAT. I've been on the the quest for "the" guitar for years now and I've played pretty much everything on the market. I can safely say that I'm pretty sure I've finally found it.

I'll post pics in a little while...they'll be crappy cell phone pics until I can find a camera to borrow, but I've got prove it exists somehow, right:p

I'll either borrow a camera from someone or buy a disposable one this week for better pictures....this one is an absolute stunner. The top absolutely smokes and the neck is up there too. I'm looking at it right now and I'm just beaming with excitement over how great it looks...and then to know that it plays/sounds even better....

I've made mention here about how I'd be all over a BFR ASS if it ever hit production, but judging by this thing...I don't know that I'd be able to handle all this plus that added prestigue of the BFR look/sound. Big kudos to the EBMM team for this one....it's definitely a work of art to be very proud of. All the fanboy-ism around here suddenly makes perfect sense to me....

Actually...the whole thing ended up not being an issue. I'll be able to have this paid off without any trouble (or penny pinching) by January.

I'll add the "upgraded top or not?" question to my DOB request thread. If it ISN"T an upgraded top, then the upgraded ones would probably be too awesome for me. I'll definitely get better pics up this week though, because this guitar really deserves that.

mine doesn't say that. Does that definitely mean that it isn't an upgraded top? To be honest, I don't care either way because it looks incredible regardless. Beyond that I figure if, even with crappy pictures, BP could mistake it for an upgraded top, that's good enough for me:D

I'm glad that you're enjoying the guitar and I'm glad that we played a small role in talking you into buying it!
