ET let me know when you guys are playing a real gig... and I will come do sound check for you :)

I only say this because I probably can't come into the store for a while because I can't afford anything but new strings, msotly due to the budget that the girlfriend keeps reminding me to adhere to :(... and everytime I go in it tortures me sooooo sooo much.

PS congrats!!!

Well, I'll put this out there at risk of chastisement.

Until my SR5 HS DD bass comes in December, I needed an "interim" 5'er so I found a used S**** L***** 5 at a great price with a pedal on trade. In December, the S***** L***** 5 will be dealt in favor of the Martini bass.

OT: New Bass

I got a new bass but it's not an EBMM (sorry BP) but I'm pretty stoked about it since it received an Editor's Choice Award on page 52 of the Sept 06 issue of Bass Player Magazine.

Congrats on the new Sterling!

(Steve - I believe the Editors Choice Award was for the Dark Star pick-up...)

well just tried to get some pics, but, strangely enough being Canberra, it's raining and dark, so no love for some nice outside shots :(

I'm going to try and take some inside ones with my crappy camera
