Your boring post is going to earn you an erasure on Santa Claus' "nice" list, Tom.

Very disappointing. Not only because us few females think you guys are HOT, but because any of the males who have met the gorgeous and fascinating Julia might hope for a glimpse of her as well.

There he was walking down the street singing do-wah-diddy-diddy-dum-diddy-do. Oh look, its T-bone. A real man on the street.

Speaking of "purpleen"

Trying out a sterling. This is gonna make Phatty happy.

IMG_2889.jpg

A real "Crossroads" moment.

IMG_2890.jpg

We got an EXTENSIVE demo of the Bose system. Another convert might be in the works.

IMG_2891.jpg

Uh-oh. Road trouble. Where does this go?

IMG_2894.jpg

Hmmmm, what's this?

IMG_2899.jpg

Markbass and Bongos. What a combo!

IMG_2906.jpg

Hey Stanky, I think this'll give your Ampeg rig a run for the money.

IMG_2908.jpg

A surreal moment with a Stingray.

All the Musicman a person can handle.

IMG_2912.jpg

Something shiny caught my attention.

"Protecting the identity of the bongo-innocent" OR "I'm not looking, this monster might frighten me."? Your pick.

"You're killing me. J-bone will kill me if I get another bass."

I leave the incriminating ones to Tim.

I see part of that was in Apple Music Tom, where are all the MM basses? Last time I was in Apple they didn't have nearly that many.

Pictures prior to the road trouble were in Apple Music. Pictures after are in the Beaverton GC.

Your memory serves you well. The Apple Music MM stock was a bit scant.

Ordinarily I am not a fan of - nor an accomplice to - peer pressure.

Glad to partake this time - thanks for the photos - cool stuff! :)

I feel some sort of response is in order.

To heck with Phatty ;) It's gonna make me happy.

I really like this system (dammit). However, when we A/B over at GC with the MB, I think I'll go with the LM II.

Hey come on now, that old girl has over 250k miles.

Hmmmm, what's this?

IMG_2899.jpg

Pay no attention to what he's pulling off the wall.

I think you were looking for some divine inspiration.

One thing I did learn is I'm not an HH person.

"You're killing me. J-bone will kill me if I get another bass."

Another thing I learned is I like that blank plank.[/QUOTE]

He forgot to add a few photos though:

Julia couldn't wait to get ahold of his hair.

Really, he's not that cute in person.

I think they're having a little too much fun (note to self, keep an eye on maddog)

Ahhh, the finished product.

And our little group photo.

That's the most SR5's I think I've ever seen in one GC.
BTW, I've always liked the Beaverton store vs the Clackamas one.

The five GC stores here usually only carry one SR5 in each store, sometimes two (one single H, one dual pickup).

MM's at Apple Music? The last few times I was there I didn't see any. Is that new, or are they just really limited on stocking them?

I'm with you, Caca. I think it's better than South Center and Downtown Seattle too. Still, and you'll hear this from maddog as well, we walked into that store, played numerous MM's through Markbass amps, and not once were we approached by a sales person. Someone finally talked to us when we plugged into the Bose system.

Limited is an understatement. But then again, we're comparing it to GC Beaverton.
