I celebrated my birthday by getting a color that I've sought after for quite a while.

Blue Dawn Axis Super Sport. I've been dying for one of these for a couple of years, and finally there were a couple on eBay. I missed the one with a rosewood fretboard (the one I really wanted), but found this one a few days later.

It's the beginning of my guitar related birthday presents. My new pedalboard and pedals should be here today, and my new amp should be on it's way by the end of the week!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!! I love the birds eye on that neck. One of these days I hope to see that BD finish in person. Looks fantastic. Now go have some fun!

Happy birthday man! I celebrated mine with a JP7 Rosewood, looks like you made a great choice on yours as well! I had a JP in that finish previously, they look even more gorgeous in person!!! Huge congrats, lovely birdseye in that neck to boot! :D

thanks guys. This is the first Axis/Super Sport I've owned that I really like the sound of the neck pickup. Before, they've always sounded muddy/too midrange-y, but this one has some serious mojo. Of course, I was using a Peavey amp before so . . . :D

and boy, have I EVER missed that neck. Best guitar neck ever made.
