Hi guys and girls,
Just a quick note to say that there are silver linings. I bought the trans orange AL.
The one with no birdseye. No, we're not opening that thread again, just wanted to say it's one of the loveliest guitars ever made. It's my third MM, after a trans gold Axis ss, and a sub bass. Bravo MM, you keep makin' them, I'll keep playin' them.

Congrats on your purchase. I played a few Albert Lee's at the EBMM Open House last month, and I was blown away by how great they feel and play! I never gave them a second thought up until that time. Now I've seen the light!

Sorry, Spud!

I know how you feel, as I have a Y2D on order.

Still, those Albert Lee guitars are absolute tone monsters. ;)

Steve,
I called into the dealers yesterday just to chew the fat and he had just done a deal and had received a really nice EM Steve Morse Guitar in p/ex.

He's got some nice Petruccis too!

This waiting is hard! Its like waiting for Santa Ha!
How long will it take for you to get your guitar ?

Where is this Morse you speak of? Any idea what they were asking for it? I get my final pay cheque in 2 weeks and there's a fair wedge of holiday money to come with that.

Spudmurphy,

I expect to have my Y2D sometime in December or January at the latest. Not too bad a wait.. especially compared to what you overseas folks endure.

(I ordered mine in September, and I got lucky 'cause the Y2D inital builds were already on the schedule for October.)
