I haven't had a lot of time to post lately although I have been dropping in and keeping up the best that I can. Railhead is in Tulsa, OK tonight playing for a wedding reception and tomorrow night we'll be playing back in the DFW area. We are getting the VIP treatment here. Flight, hotel and limo. It's almost like being a real rock star!

I hope everyone has a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

And Bill, your lead singer seems like a really nice guy and he certainly had nothing but good things to say about you. It always amazes me at how small this world really is. ;)

happy new yr all!

Realistically though there are going to be good times and bad times in the upcoming yr. Times when you will laugh and feel happy with life and times when you feel like nothing is going your way.

With this in mind my advice is to always keep things in perspective. When you start to focus on the negative things in your life, try and remember all of the good things you have and suddenly it wont seem so bad.

its like that song "You've got to Accent-tchu-ate the positive, E-lim-my-nate the negative, Latch on to the affifmative, Don't mess with Mister In-between. You've got to spread joy Up to the maximum, Bring gloom down to the minimum, Have faith, or pandemonium Li'ble to walk upon the scene. To illustrate my last remark, Johah in the whale, Noah in the Ark, What did they do Just when everything looked so dark? "Man" they said, "We better Accent-tchu-ate the positive, E-lim-my nate the negative, Latch on To the affirmative, Don't mess with Mister In-between." No, don't mess with Mister In-between."

Sounds like you're doing fine, Larry!

I'm sitting here in the middle of a major thunderstorm on the Gulf Coast, having spent the evening solving life's little problems with my sister and my wife.

Better company would be hard to come by.

Bottle of Ketel One is ready for New Year's Eve.

A Happy New Year to you all.

Sadly I've just heard the news that a friend and fellow BMW GS'er motorcyclist was killed on his bike yesterday, so my feelings are a little subdued.

Thanks and I don't want to dampen this thread of celebration.

I'm actually finally giving up my bike, decided over the last couple a months and this just confirms it.

Still, 37 yrs and over 600,000 miles is givin' it a good go:)

Happy holidays

Sorry to hear about your friend Peter. I ride too, and that sort of news always chills me.

Happy New Year one and all.

I will be having an alcohol free New Years Eve, as I am working. On call for the Police, it's been busy until now, but it has quietened downa little. However, it will kick off later. A few more calls and I will be able to buy a New Year Bongo. :D

If that's an offer I may just take you up on it;)

Peter

Uh oh! I've got to be a little more careful with words! It'll be one of my New Year resolutions.
Or: This is the part where I say I'm an ignorant norwegian that do not understand the english language.;)

By the way: Sorry about your friend, Peter. I didn't catch it the first time I scrolled through the thread. Please forgive me.

God bless your friend.
