Well,

Happy Valentine's Day to all who have them. This morning, before I put Mr. Ivory through another workout (practice), we're going to watch my Duran Duran "Live From London" DVD... Just to get the blood pumping for the day! :)

So that's what you call it? Putting Mr. Ivory through another workout? :D

My girlfriend has been putting up with me for 2 years (as of Feb 8th) and that is a Valentine present itself.

She bought me a Taylor 810 for Christmas, and has been put on gift restriction by me as a result, until my burfday in September.

The mentioned Taylor for kicks :D :

I don't really like valentine's day, it's a more commercial thing now, just like Christmas and all other hollidays. No one celibrated halloween here in Belgium till about 6 years ago, than it suddenly came over from the US (quite contradictional, because it was first celibrated here in Europe, and only later in the US), and suddenly every one wanted pumpkins and witches and all that commercial crap.

I'm going to watch James Bond tonight, together with 2 friends of mine. And no, I don't have a girlfriend, nor wife (still a bit young for that:D )

I just think it's silly, a special day for your girlfriend/wife, like you love her/him more on that day and have to prove it by buying each other stuff. It's just an impulse stimulated by the market.
I think it's more usefull too celibrate your anniversary, each others bearthday,... I think those days mean more to your relationship then something like Valentine. But then again, that's my opinion
