Hi everyone.. Just a short message to wish all you guys here at the forum a very Happy Christmas, and a successful New Year. I am always so blown away by the messages, comments and support that I get from my posts on videos, tours and various musical ventures that I report here..so thank you very very much.

I would also like to with Stirling, Brian and Derek and all of the team at Ernie Ball/Musicman USA, and Rod, Mark, Andy, Nick (clubby), and everyone at Strings and Things UK a very Happy Xmas and all the best for the New Year. I am so lucky to be supported by you guys..you all go above and beyond in how you help me,and support me. I have been an endorsee since 1997, and can honestly say that you guys are the best!! You make the best guitars and strings in the world, period, and you treat all of your artist's with same amount of respect and support, no matter who they are, and what their role is with in the industry. I feel proud and honoured to be apart of the family, and also for the opportunity you gave me this last year in heading up a very successfull in store UK clinic program. Also i want to thank you for supplying me with such amazing instruments for my Lick Library video work, and for my Brian May UK tour...I am so excited with what next year will bring with 50 years of Ernie Ball...lets rock and have a great year... Hope you have fond memories of Glasgow in 2011.

Just watched the xmas vid; no sooner have I finished my trans blue 'Humphries Tribute Super Sport' project with the signature, now I'll need to source a black Silo Special for the Humphries-II!

And a very Merry Xmas to you...send my love to Sarah, and yes have great memories of Glasgow...was a great Musicman day, and you especially made my day with your tribute to my guitar with the Black Pickups in your's...I was pretty blown away by that tbh...haha...yes the custom built Black Silo...DiMarzio Area pickups in the neck and middle...not sure which ones, i'll have to check with Steve Blutcher at DiMarzio as he matched them for me..the bridge is an FS1 hotrail, I think!!..Its also got piezo and dunlop 60100 fret wire, as do all my guitars. What about Humphries III??...lol...now thats a special one...my tabbaco burst custom built Supersport with MM90's...thats a very special guitar, as it was custom built by Dudley at Musicman...Highly flamed top, and one of the most figured Birds eye maple neck and boards I have ever seen... This guitar is special, because the MM90 model has a 3 way switch...mine has a 5 way, because I have a DiMarzio DLX Plus in the bridge..its a humbucker in a P90 case...has the characteristics of the P90 when the volume backed off, but is really punchy when crancked...I can split it too with the 5 way, getting some amazing tones splitting the different coils with the neck MM90..its fixed bridge with piezo, and 60100 fret wire..Oh and a "Custom Built" neck plate hehe..Merry Xmas Jamie
P.S..Ive included a pic of my old white Silo...that one has DiMarzio virtual vintage pickups in the neck and middle, and an old solo pro in the bridge, which is a hot single coil...not a hotrail, so more traditional sounding, but with balls!!!!
