i've just never been able to understand why someone would purposely destroy a guitar on stage. :confused::confused::confused:

koogie, after seeing your bass :eek::eek::eek:, i will never again bitch about the small ding i got on one of my bfr's at a recent gig.

I can see trashing a Squier...but a Music Man? A premium, precision crafted beautiful instrument deserves more respect than that.

My cousin told me that when going to see the Who in concert, you knew the show was over because they had destroyed all their equipment.

smashing guitars is so overdone, it's like a silly spinal tap cliche now, and not cool or edgy.

Personally, I never thought it was cool. Not everyone can afford to buy a new guitar every night - Squire or otherwise. There are kids all over the world that would love to have an electric guitar. To me, smashing a 'perfectly good guitar' is like ordering dinner at a really expensive restaurant and then just throwing it away simply because you can. It just shows a completely lack of respect for music in my opinion.

Just so ya'll know That cat lives in Halifax about 2 hours from me and has been fighting for over a year to get his guitar fixed ...and since the video United airlines have called him and it was shown on CNN hahahaha he Played with a great band called Sons of Maxwell
