Soldering blisters SUCK.

Glad you made it out ok...

I'll chime in on the Lemon Oil tip. I've used Formby's for well over 15 years. It's easy to get in the supermarket and it's hella cheap. Like $5 for a big ass bottle. I have amost a litre of it left....a little goes along way on that tip...I pretty much condition everything at least once a month, especially with how dry it gets here during cold snaps in the winter...sometimes more there. Helps prevent and cure the old fret sprout...when I'm doing a TON of playing, I also go bucknutty w/ fingerease too.

Lemon oil is not great for frets and metal. Woneder wipes fretboard conditioneer are a combo of orange oil linseed and jojoba oil Much better than straight lemon oil
