I know we're all gaga & gas'ing over the NAMM goodies, but this one still deserves a place right in the middle of all that beauty & excitement.

Oli, the SN (on the bridge) made me think of you & one of the more certifiable bass fetishes I've ever encountered - I know you'll appreciate the symmetry to that one. ;)

I also know you'll appreciate that neck (and of course the incredible top & finish) - who wouldn't?!

This is the Excalibur of SR5's, IMO.

Oh yes, I know this one ;)
It's nice, but fortunately (for me) I'm not so fond of blue basses (the finish of the 20th is more appealing to me), not looking for a 5 string, and generally prefer oil & wax finish for necks. (I still have to find out how well the high gloss finish works for me on the 30th)

I have a 20th SR5 that is THE best SR5 I have ever touched, played, fondled, slobbered on, etc.

But I suspect that that blue thing would make me weak in the knees.

I'm glad I can only look at pictures.

Yeah, that part's bitter-sweet for me.

In addition to everything else, I love the ebony board. And how cool is that bridge? The first 10 SR5 bridges made were kept for these 10 BFR's ... THAT's classy.
