I'll give this fugger 10/10 for trying. Now we know why Bongo headstocks get dinged so easily! :D :D :D

One day in the store, this bass actually floated up off of it's hanger on the wall, and eeirly hovered for more than a few seconds before it fell to the ground. I know what you're thinking, but I'm telling you the truth, I witnessed it as well as another co-worker. The bass just levitated upward, hovered a moment and then fell to the ground. A customer nearby, was quite shaken by the incident, and claimed he saw a little boy, with a devilish grin, running away after it happened, but neither myself or the co-weorker saw the little boy, although we did hear some serious cackling, and some muffled laughter. I get goosebumps just thinking about it. The bass suffered an infliction or two, by falling, and I've pictured them, or at least tried to. There are a couple of nicks near the top rear bout, a pinpoint dent near the upper cutaway, a few more nicks on the headstock as well, and I believe it slightly bent the volume knob

I had a snowmobile like that once... the damn thing started acting on it's own,
and went right for a big tree. Lot of damage to the front end.

Didn't know at the time "it was haunted", makes me feel much better, LOL :D

Whats nore haunting the bass falling off the shelf or Dargie's call to him this morning

I don't get it. Why did Dargie call him?

..... maybe to shut him up about the strange happenings that have been witnessed around Bongo's lately.

For breaking quite a few bits of the dealer agreement (ie having an auction on a new bass for less than the minimum advertised price for a new instrument, saying that he'd sell out of the country, etc).

To talk to him about shipping a new instrument out of the USA I would guess?

My bongo has never floated. :D

couldn't he title the bongo as a demo / ding-n-dent kind of deal?

being a floor model and damaged, it's far from new...
