I wish you all the best and biggest fun at the open house you ********* :p

I can´t come and I hate myself and me for that, I know I miss something.
I think this will be the greatest party in the music buisness by far. What is that grammy thing again

Maybe next year (hope there is one). Make the bar at the grill an empty one and take as much pics as possible.

All the best

what is this "open house" everybody is talking about????
BP's hosting a private forum party in SLO on the weekend, featuring meet'n'greets and private shows from John Petrucci, Luke and Steve Morse (I think)...not to mention food, wine, song... those that are going are going to have the time of their lives - and for the first time in my life I find myself wishing I still lived out West... but we're still paying off the bills from my daughter's protracted illness/hospital stay last fall, and I simply cannot afford to get there from here :(

I hope everyone who is there has a great time! My thoughts are with you!! Rock on!! :D

Man your health system sucks in the US. I feel sorry and I hope she does well by now, all the best.
Mick

Atually he's Canadian, where apparently we're supposed to have one of the best Health Care systems around...hahahahaha, you want to hear a good one....there was this lady at Emergency in a hospital in Montreal. awaiting treatment, well the poor dear passed on(sometimes there's a 3 hour plus wait)...well to make matters worse her family received a letter in the mail weeks later, and the letter went something like this:

"Hello, we hope you enjoyed you stay at.......and we are pleased that you chose our facility. We ask that you donate some money so that we can continue to provide the level of service that has greatly helped people such as yourself. Good Bye and God Bless"
....or something to that effect.

Do you believe that...but I shouldn't complain because I believe things could be worse in the U.S. Our son was born 3+ months premature and at the time I was unemployed. Atleast here he got excellant care and surrvived the whole ordeal, while living in the States we could have faced HUGE hospital bills...so I guess I should be grateful.

Thanks for the good thoughts guys... Annie has been doing well the last several months, and though she's on a whack of meds, she seems to be getting on very well, especially for someone without a left frontal lobe... yes, you read that right - she's missing a huge chunk of grey matter, but no one would ever guess it to meet her, except for a tiny scar under her hairline and a rather pronounced learning disability with math, which she is in turn learning to over come... Truth is she's the bravest and strongest person I know, and I learn something from her every day. She's just a terrific kid!

As for our health system, it has it's plusses and minusses - one of the plusses is the guaranteed health care, but we could only get a "free" hospital stay if we would take a room with three other children in it - at the time, we found things difficult enough and opted to pay extra for a private room, but we were there for substantially longer than we thought... It was worth it to us in the end, but between the room costs and some of the ancilary costs around the medications and treatments, it did hit us in the pocket book harder than we'd thought - nothing desperate, mind you, but our discretionary spending is tight for the next year or so...

All right didn´t watch carefully at your location, but I see your health system is like ours. The extra costs keep your pockets empty but I am happy for you everything went well.
And as long you don´t have to sell an axis.....just kidding all the best and next time we make it to the open house and drink til we need to go to the hospital (2 bed room no xtra costs:))

All the best

All the best Jim. She sounds like a strong little tiger. Physical exercise also helps brain development as well as co-ordination (these things are linked very strongly). This may help... it is a company called INPP. Check it out on the web.
