I am the proud new owner of a SR HS but not sure now if I should have gone for the HH  am a complete beginner and my music taste varies - wanna play it all, so want versatility as I wont be able to afford another bass for a good few years at least.. have I made the right choice ?

no way. youre fine... you made a great choice.

as a beginer youre way ahead of the curve by getting a music man. the bass should serve you well for just about forever... im not kidding.

dont worry at all and have fun. Personally I have the Sterling in HS and HH and prefer the HS.

dude what are you saying ? when i started playing bass it was on a $60 hondo with an action like a cheese cutter. the bass you have now is a fully pro bass and alot of pro players would like one but cant afford it. look after it , treat it like your wife , girlfreind( better) and it will look after you for as long as you play.

I really dig the HS configuration......try position two with loads of mid and bass boosted, that'll scare ya!!:)
I play plenty of different styles and it suits all - thats the joy of an EBMM

Coyote Cute

Welcome....

The bass you chose is really a great one. I am biased, though. I have yet to knowingly release a dog to the general public! THis should give you a great start in your new passion

stick around we love our girls here and you will be treated right. You do need an avatar, though!

The only Mistake i see here is that you didn't buy enough of these great basses. Now you have 1 , start working on the next 25 you'll really need.
