I tried a new approach, Its our 20th anniversary coming up this year. So I said it would be great if I could get a 20th SR5 for our 20th. The Hindenburg lasted in the air on fire longer than my idea. I'm still not giving up on getting a SR5 this year. I've seen a SR5 at a GC that is a bit demo weary. No one in their right mind would pay the GLP for that one. I hoping to convince the manger it needs to go on special.:D Never say never!

Oh, DUDE! You have only one bank account?!?!?

Yeah, I'm afraid so...it actually works out pretty well...we discuss all large purchases, but basically she let's me get what I want and I let her get what she wants...when things are tighter, we both go without...

I really should not complain: when we first got married, she wanted me to keep all my equipment out of sight. Over the years, I've convinced her of the decorative quality of fine instruments...now our bedroom looks like a little corner of the Hard Rock casino...I've got two fine six-strings and the Sterling mounted in a place of honor over the computer desk, a guitar rig in the corner for bedroom jamming, and the 4-Pro Half-Stack in the living room behind a nice folding wrought-iron screen. So I guess you can say that she's mellowed a little on the subject!

The bottom line is that I try to make her happy, and she returns the favor! (I guess I'll keep her )
