Question Headstock logo

Does anyone know if the maunfacturer will re-logo my headstock if i decide to refinish the bass?

If not are there any places you know of for accurate logos?

so basically if you have a painted headstock that looks like crap or you want to paintmatch headstock to body you're hosed...bummer

i understand with the amount of knockoffs and bootlegs out there why they wouldn't wanna repro headstock logos...but to not redo a modern logo on a headstock that has genuine factry markings just seems silly.

Actually no company does it, any of the fender or gibson logos you see are fakes or ripped off from a factory source.

A person can actually make them easily with supplies available on the net.

I don't see why so many people get bummed out about this. I would understand if every other company offered replacement logos or service and MM didn't but that's not the case.
Either live with the color it is, regardless of the condition or sell it and get a color you like.

If you're going to refinish the neck it may be worth the extra expense of getting a new one from Ernie Ball (but you'll have to give them your old one).

The neck would prob have to be fitted at the factory.

Why does your headstock "look like crap"? Maybe you should have bought the right bass the first time round?

As has been mentioned many times, the factory doesn't 'retrofit' anything.

The logo is silkscreened on to the headstock....ergo, no "stickers".

So....that's enough of this thread, as the question has been asked and answered and further diddling about will only lead to heartbreak.
