Does anyone have a comparison diagram of the different sized headstocks? I have a trace of the old one and was wanting to see it compared to the new one and see how much bigger it really is.
Does anyone know where the length is measured? Maybe from the nut, or the length of the 4 peg side?

Here's the specs from the website.
Cutlass/StingRay 6-3/8" (16.2 cm) long
Silhouette Special Only 5-7/8" (14.9 cm) long

Does anyone really notice the extra 1.3cm?

That's barely half an inch and it's measured from the front of the nut. Looking at them side-by-side, yeah I can see it, but in reality you just don't think about it. Let me grab a photo...

Sorry, my iphone sucks in low light, but you get the idea. It's really not a big deal at all.

Actually that is a good photo - the extra length of the larger headstock really is just there to make the larger bodied guitars (Cutlass, StingRay and Valentine) have the same "proportional look" as the original smaller bodied guitars like the Silhouette/Silhouette Special, Albert Lee, Luke(s), etc.

Yeah, I think that is a great comparison pic. It's just enough bigger to look "right" imo.
