Just picked up a copy of Guitar Buyer in the UK, to find very flattering reviews on both the BFR Albert Lee and BFR Axis. This is the first time I've seen an EBMM review (apart from bass) in ages. Both of them got 5 pout of 5 on the GBRating. The only black mark was the lack of colour choice on the AL, but I guess that has been taken care of to a degree with the introduction of the Rosewood neck models. Congrats to EB on a well deserved great review , it made a pleasant change from the usual stuff we see. :D I look forward to seeing one of the 25th.

I think that the black mark is not fair as the whole concept of the BFR is limited production with unlimited boundaries. The Albert Lee was a tribute to the original Pinkburst that was no longer available but with the tone block and maple top.

In all fairness they didn't make a big thing about it, just that some more 'insecure' males may feel less than comfortable with a pink guitar around their necks :D. As for me I'd chop off one of my fingers to own one  It was a very good review and one I was very pleased to see. I might see if I can scan it and put it up.

Nothing wrong with fellas playing pink guitars, plus it's not girly pink like that hello kitty junk, it's like a candy pick, when I saw my BFR AL I wanted to lick it,

Seriously - I dare you not to lick it -

Still good the UK guitar press are finally reviewing ball guitars, the only one I've seen in the last 10 years was the 20th....
