Nice, glad to hear that. I thought for a while no one got that, or everyone here hated Zappa or something.

I not a huge Zappa fan, but after hearing that song, I'm anxious to hear more. I know all his work isn't like that song, but if he's that brilliant, I'm sure everything else is remarkable. Any suggestions?

Well, given that Zappa's discography is just enormous, you may want to go to the wikepedia article on him (which is pretty good) and look foward and backwards from that album. Another suggestion is to just go get any of the live albums from around the time young Steve Vai was in the band. Also, the live album (2 CD) All the Stuff You Can't Do on Stage Anymore is pretty comprehensive up to the very early 80s.

Spudmurphy,

I'll make you a deal: you organize it, we'll be there! Now, wouldn't that be awesome! Just try to pry me out of the pubs...wa-hoo!

Hey Headstock,

Glad you enjoy it! There are some free scores downloadable from our website's members section if you'd like to read through the chaos. The Thrid Derivative of James Brown and Bionic Hillbilly are there. Maybe Steve's Stunt Double too.

Thanks for the support,

John
