Plays like butter
But the springs for the Floyd Rose were not installed, so I took it to a local guitar shop for a setup. I told the guy to put 0.10s on it and set the intonation, action etc and I am going to get it back next Saturday. The guy who is doing it is a custom guitar builder here in The Hague, Peer Dellen, and he should do a good job. I will post some clips as soon as I make some recordings when I get it back. I am really happy I finally have a high-quality guitar and especially because it's a Musicman
Thanks for the welcome!
Cheers!
You've got yourself a rare guitar there my friend, I used to have one just like it. The colour is Morse Blueburst and the Floyd is no longer offered on the Silo's. It's probably quite an early model. Does it have the raw neck or is it lacquered? Mine was the lacquered one from around '91 if I remember correctly.
Thanks everyone for the welcome!
I am going to take pictures of the back of the neck next week.
This is indeed my first Musicman guitar and I have no intention of playing anything else from now on
