Hello from new member... and PICS!

Hi all,

I've been lurking around for a couple months since I got my Luke, so I figured it was time to join.

How I got the ball: I was on the market for a new guitar and I remembered playing a sunburst Luke at a local shop a while back. It played amazingly and just felt like a really high-quality instrument, so I decided to look around for one.

I found this (see pics) Luke at another local store, used, but in dead mint condition. The setup at the time was less than impressive (for some reason the instrument had gone neglected by the store), but when I showed interest in it they had their tech set it up immediately. It made a world of a difference, and I was actually grinning from ear-to-ear while play-testing it. I walked out with it that night, and have thoroughly enjoyed it ever since.

Oh, and customer support is great! I had some trouble that was quickly resolved by email. Thanks guys!

I think somewhere down the road I might pick up an HSS and the Silo Special and Luke are the EBMMs I'll be considering. Yours is a beauty. That color with the rosewood/unfinished headstock looks killer. There's a great vintage/modern vibe going on there.

You're right, at first I wanted a loaded Luke, but after getting this one I realized there's something awesome about that simple, "unloaded" vibe.

I agree, it's a great colour, and a JP7 would look AWESOME in it. They should include a Luke Blue tone in the scheme of JP's next mystic dream mixture, haha.
